Activity Stream

Measurements of fallout radioactivity in the North Atlantic region including Faroe Islands and Greenland are reported. Strontium-90, cesium-137 and cesium-134 were determined in samples of precipitation, sea water, vegetation, various foodstuffs (including milk in the Faroes), and drinking water. Estimates are given of the mean contents of 90Sr and 137Cs in human diet in the Faroes and Greenland in 198S and 1989. 99Tc data on marine samples, in particular sea wate from the Greenland Sea, are reported. 1988, 1989
