Environmental radioactivity in the North Atlantic Region including the Faroe Islands and Greenland. 1990 and 1991

Measurements of fallout radioactivity in the North Atlantic region including Faroe Islands and Greenland are reported. Strontium-90, cesium-137 and cesium-134 were determined in samples of precipitation, sea water, vegetation, various foodstuffs (including milk in the FaroesX and drinking water. Estimates are given of the mean contents of 90Sr and 137Cs in human diet in the Faroes and Greenland in 1990 and 1991. 99Tc data on marine samples, in particular sea water from the Greenland Sea, are reported.
